The history of the Jews of Thessaloniki, (Greece) reaches back two thousand years. The city of Thessaloniki (also known as Salonica) housed a major Jewish community, mostly Eastern Sephardim, until the middle of the Second World War. It is the only known example of a city of this size in the Jewish diaspora that retained a Jewish majority for centuries.

Day 1: Thessaloniki
- Arrival at the “Macedonia” Airport of Thessaloniki and transfer to hotel.
- Dinner at local restaurant
- Overnight at Hotel
Day 2: Thessaloniki
- Breakfast at hotel
- 6-hour guided city tour of Thessaloniki including: neoclassical villas of the jewish community (Villa Allatini, Casa Bianca and Villa Mordoch), Byzantine walls, the Rotonda, and Jewish museum of Thessaloniki where you will learn about the presence of the Jewish community in Thessaloniki.
- Lunch and Dinner at local restaurant
Day 3: Thessaloniki – Veroia – Kavala
- Departure for Veroia after breakfast
- Visit the Synagogue and 18th Century Jewish Quarters of Veroia
- Departure for Kavala and check in at local hotel.
- Lunch and Dinner at local restaurants
Day 4: Kavala – Istanbul
- Breakfast and morning stroll in Kavala
- Departure for Istanbul
- Change of Bus and Guide at Greek-Turkish borders
- Check in at hotel in Istanbul
- Dinner in hotel
Day 5: Istanbul

- 8-hour guided city tour including: Ashkenazi, Italian and Tofre Begadim Synagogues, the Kamondo Stairs and the Jewish museum, Ahrida Synagogue, Yanbol Synagogue and Cana synagogue, Ora Hayim Jewish Hospital, Asphar Mayor , Caraim and Maalem synagogues, Hasköy Sepharadim Cemetery and Kamondo Mauseleum, Ortakoy, Etz a Hayim Synagogue
